Auxilium School was founded in 2008 by the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians commonly known as the Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco. It is a minority institution established and administered by them primarily for the education of the Catholic Community. But members of other communities are also admitted irrespective of caste and creed and their rights of conscience are respected. The School follows the educative system of Don Bosco based on reason, religion, and loving-kindness, where the pupil is the protagonist of his/her own formation. The educating community consisting of parents, teachers, pupils and management, work together for the 'holistic, development of the pupil in a family atmosphere.
Auxilium School aims a tradition of excellence, devoted to create leaders of tomorrow having social commitment and love for nature and humanity. The Auxilium Vision of Education envisage our pupils to become intellectually enlightened, morally upright, spiritually oriented, emotionally balanced, socially committed patriotic and accomplished – in a word, integrally developed young women and men who will be agents of social transformation in today’s India for a better tomorrow.
Our Mission is inspired by a vision of human kind and the rest of creation and its destiny drawn from the life and teachings of Jesus Christ ‘The Perfect Man’ in whom ‘all human values find fulfillment and unity’ (c.s.35)
We recognize that besides striving for intellectual competence, our school must commit itself to the promotion of love, freedom, sincerity, justice, preservation of the integrity of creation, responsible use of cybernetics and mass media, fostering of wholesome and simple life styles, combating the ill effects of globalization, corruption, violence, criminalization and powerlessness of the marginalized sections of the society.

The Hari Sri Vidya Nidhi Trust was registered as a Society under the Travancore — Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act on 27th July, 1983.The nucleus of this institution was the Hari Sri Nursery and Primary School founded and run by Mrs.Nalini Chandran since 1st September, 1978, when the auspicious ritual of lighting the sacred lamp was performed by Smt. Kannambra Ammukutty Nethiar, the maternal grandmother of the institution FOUNDER, Mrs. Nalini Chandran.
The primary aim of the Hari Sri Vidya Nidhi is to run a Model School for boys and girls, maintaining a high standard in education and culture. What is unique about the school is the distinctive balancing and blending of academics and co-curricular activities. The school grew as an extension to the tharavad Ashtami.Eventually, Mrs.Nalini Chandran volunteered to empower the parents by including them in the Trust of the Hari Sri Primary School. Thus she chose members of the First Executive committee.Judge Balakrishnan Iyer insisted on Mrs. Nalini Chandran being the only life member ofthe Hari Sri Vidya Nidhi Trust. With time the middle school had to function out of rented places in Palliyil Lane, old Surakshita School and the place next to Printwell. Thus was the journey of Hari Sri Nursery to Hari Sri Vidya Nidhi.
