Al Baha Private College of Science was established at the beginning of the academic year 1422 AH corresponding to 2001 AD through the great efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (may God have mercy on him), former Emir of Al Baha Region, to contribute to cultural and educational development, and to participate in achieving the requirements of comprehensive development in the Kingdom .

The college was established by a number of businessmen (the founders) as stated in the articles of association, in order to serve the people of the region and advance the educational process 

The college was established on an area of ​​(120,000 m2) and many buildings were constructed for classrooms, laboratories, and a residential complex for all college members, as well as the construction of sports fields, a gym, and a mosque 

The college has graduated a large number of male and female students. At the beginning of its establishment, there was a specialization in computer engineering, then the college developed and now has four specializations 

The college is one of the distinguished educational institutions in the Kingdom for raising the educational level in its current specializations, which are (Administrative Information Systems and Computer Sciences), in which it grants a bachelor’s degree. The college also seeks to open new departments that serve the community and meet the desires of its people 

The college is supervised by a Board of Trustees consisting of a scientific elite with competencies in the field of higher education, headed by His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Muhammad bin Saud Al Saud, to reach the level that qualifies it to provide high-quality educational services .
Al Baha Private College of Science is the first private college for university education in the southern region. In 1422 AH, it was accredited by the Ministry of Education and classified by the Ministry of Civil Service. It has a Board of Trustees headed by His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Saud, and a number of Their Excellencies and Highnesses from the academics as members. It is one of the distinguished educational institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia .
