AECS, Kudankulam, was started for the children of employees of the prestigious NPCIL and its various supporting organizations. As a fledgling school in 2002 with a mere 25 students, it spread its wings to accommodate more than 1200,
gathering up even children from the near-by villages. In a short span it grew in leaps and bounds not only in terms of size but in the variety of activities that the students are exposed to - at state, national and international levels.
