Advanced Placement (AP) courses give students the chance to tackle college-level work while they’re still in high school— whether they’re learning online or in the classroom. And through taking AP Exams, students can earn college credit and placement
The Bahrain School community empowers all students to achieve their maximum potential through rigorous standards-based instruction in an environment that respects diverse cultures. Our mission is to Educate, Engage and Empower students to succeed in a dynamic world.
Bahrain School prepares high school students for college and career opportunities with an academic program that includes Advanced Placement courses, Extracurricular Activities, Athletic and Arts Programs, and various travel opportunities.
Bahrain School is the first to offer the AP Capstone Diploma Program in Bahrain.
We are one of approximately 2,500 schools worldwide to implement the AP Capstone Diploma program―an innovative program that encourages students to develop skills for college and career success, including critical thinking, research, collaboration, and communication.
Advanced Placement (AP) courses give students the chance to tackle college-level work while they’re still in high school— whether they’re learning online or in the classroom. And through taking AP Exams, students can earn college credit and placement.
The program consists of two year-long courses taken in sequence: AP Seminar and AP Research. Students who score a 3 or higher in AP Seminar and AP Research and on 4 additional AP Exams of their choosing earn the AP Capstone Diploma. This signifies outstanding academic achievement and attainment of college-level academic and research skills. Students who score a 3 or higher in both AP Seminar and AP Research (and not on 4 additional AP Exams) earn the AP Seminar and Research Certificate.
