Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan conducts the overall administration of the school . Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan was conceived and founded by Dr. K M Munshi in 1938. Bharatiya Vidya was based according to Munshiji on the principles of Satyam, Shivam and Sundaram — Truth, Goodness and Beauty . It is an educational, intellectual and cultural movement.
NPOL
The Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory is a premier defence lab attached to the DRDO. Set up in 1952 (then called the Indian Naval Physical Laboratory), it was subsequently renamed as NPOL. In 50 years, the lab has grown from a handful of staff to become one of the most renowned research centres with more than 300 scientists and technical officers working for technological advancement in the field of ocean acoustics, studies & systems.
