Balakrishna Menon was born on 8th May 1916, at Ernakulam, Kerala. He was an inquisitive and intelligent child. The musician saint, Chattambi Swamigal predicted a bright spiritual future for the boy.
This Chinmaya Vidyalaya has been started under the auspices of Madras Chinmaya Seva Trust. His Holiness Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda is the founder. His Holiness Swami Tejomayanandaji is the successor to Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda. Our Vidyalaya is administered by a management committee of office-bearers drawn from the members of the local Chinmaya Mission.
