Clemis School was started by the Malankara Syrian Knanaya Arch Diocese in the year 1992 for providing quality education to the students. The School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education. It is named in honour of Late Abraham Mor Clemis, Chief Metropolitan of the East.

Clemis School is situated 550 m to South from Chingavanam Junction on the Kottayam Changanassery road. It is owned and managed by Malankara Syrian Knanaya Archdiocese, under the leadership of the Governing Board members headed by H.E Mor Severios Kuriakose, Knanaya Samudaya Metropolitan.

    Clemis School, a unique gift of God has provided and continue to provide a learning environment specially tailored for exemplary learners.We aim at sculpturing students into worthy well informed responsible citizens. The sharp fall in the ethical and moral values among the human community, the callous disregard of common man's interest, the increasing hypocrisy and double talk have cumulatively caused deterioration in human character and personality, which is alarming. There is no emphasis in the present education to uplift the students moral, ethical and spiritual value. Realizing this truth, Clemis School undertakes various ventures to eradicate those evils from the minds of the students and makes them ideal, upright and model citizens. We firmly believe that our earnest endeavors would bear rich results in due course of time, as desirable changes are visible even now. This would be a continuous project in the school to all the present students and to all those who join in the years to come.
