The vision of the College of Agricultural and Marine Sciences is to be among the top applied biosciences colleges in the Middle East region and to be recognized internationally for excelling in agricultural and marine science education and research while contributing substantially to national and regional development.

Students may pursue a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Crop Science, Food Science, Nutrition, Marine and Fisheries Science, Natural Resource Economics, Soil, Water and Agriculture Engineering. Students may also pursue a two-year MSc program in Animal Science, Crop Production, Crop Protection, Food Science and Nutrition, Marine and Fisheries Science, Natural Resource Economics, Soil and Water Management and Agriculture Engineering. We also offer a three to four year PhD degree in Crop Science; Food Science and Nutrition; Marine and Fisheries Science, Natural Resource Economics and Soil, Water and Agriculture Engineering.
Teaching is a primary goal of the college, with the college offering a wide variety of courses that include college requirements, college electives, department requirements, department electives and university electives. Teaching is in classrooms, in well-equipped laboratories and on experimental farms. We also have a Central Analytical Laboratory, two Research Vessels and a Dairy Plant.
The college aspires and continues its mission to be a leading college in the region in research related to Agricultural and Marine Sciences. The average number of refereed publications per faculty member in the college is among the highest in agricultural colleges in the region.
