DE PAUL – IT’S MISSION

De Paul Academy School was inaugurated in 2010. It was initially situated at Ron, but shifted to Bhasalapura, 2 km away from Ron Taluk in Gadag District of Northern Karnataka, in 2015. It was affiliated to CBSE, Delhi in 2020.

De Paul Academy English Medium CBSE School is an educational institution of the De Paul Academy Trust, founded on behalf of the St. Joseph Province of the Vincentian Congregation which imbibes the spirit and charisma of St. Vincent De Paul, the heavenly patron.

The institution is entitled to enjoy the benefits of Article 30(1) of the Constitution of India, as it is established and administered by a Christian Minority Community.

It was founded with the pure intention, extensively, to facilitate the so called quality education, which the urban students are enjoying, to the students in rural area of Ron and to enhance the comprehensive development of the area. Our immediate objective is to transfer the light of knowledge to its pupil. “The key of the growth of the nation is to educate the rural generations”-Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam

Best teachers will not give their students something to drink…they will make the students thirst…they will bring the students to a path to seek answers. Likewise, we are concerned to create and concept of learning in the students as a continuous process, throughout life. We help them in their thinking process to acquire knowledge, to develop skills through experiments. “Learning gives creativity, Creativity leads to thinking, Thinking provides knowledge, Knowledge makes you great” Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.

We help the students to understand that they are social beings and to realize the value of relationship which drives one to be caring than being negligent, to be facilitating than spoiling, to be charitable than selfish. “Fair and strong society is truly formed only when the education is based on values.”- APJ Abdul Kalam

We are concerned to help our students to know him/ her as a person; we have got trained teachers for this purpose. We motivate our students to think, not merely as a child or student or a receiver, but as a person, facilitator, parent, teacher etc. It gives them the impetus to discipline self, to dignify self; consequently and eventually they grow as a person with self-confidence; human being with all the goodness and values of life. Life is renewed equivalently to renewed thoughts. Education is what survives when what has been learned has been forgotten.
