De Paul Public School is a co-educational Central Syllabus[CBSE] school established and administered by the Mary Matha Province of the Vincentian Congregation(VC). It is a religious minority educational institution enjoying the relevant rights and privileges guaranteed by the Indian constitution. Drawing inspiration from the life and works of St. Vincent De Paul, Vincentian Congregation was founded in 1904 at Thottakom, Kerala by V. Rev. Fr. Varkey Kattarath. Now the congregation has three Provinces-Mary Matha Province, St. Joseph Province and St. Thomas Province extending their services throughout India and also in Italy, Germany, Kenya, Tanzania, Nairobi, U.S.A. and Canada.
AIM & OBJECT
The primary objective of De Paul Public School is to impart sound formation (physical, mental, social, moral, religious, ecofriendly) based on the principles of Christian faith, to the young minds. The institution also aims at an integrated development of all stakeholders. The method of education followed in this institution is the one taught and practised by St. Vincent De Paul, a great educator and social reformer. It is based on the reverential love for God, on Conviction, on the helpful presence of the educator for timely corrections and guidance. St. Vincent termed it as Reason, Religion and Loving Kindness. The following subjects are being taught in the school with a view to prepare pupils for their CBSE Examination: English, Kannada, Hindi, Mathematics, Life Science, Physical Science, History with Civics and Geography and Computer Applications. The other subjects are Work Education, Physical Education, Moral Science and General Knowledge.

Drawing inspiration from the life and works of St. Vincent De Paul, Vincentian Congregation was founded in 1904 at Thottakom, Kerala by V. Rev. Fr. Varkey Kattarath. Now the congregation has three Provinces-Mary Matha Province, St. Joseph Province and St. Thomas Province extending their services throughout India and also in Italy, Germany, Kenya, Tanzania, Nairobi, U.S.A. and Canada. The Management is providing excellent education through its schools and colleges at different parts of the country apart from a large number of social service centres. The internationally famous divine retreat centre at Potta and Muringoor, Kerala has been the initiative of the Vincentian Congregation.
