Most Rev. Fr. J. E. Arul Raj OMI, Founder, envisioned and initiated the establishment of an educational institution in Polivakkam. In line with his vision, DFT planted the seed of DMI ST. JOSEPH GLOBAL SCHOOL on April 6, 2017, with the blessings of Most Rev. Fr. J. E. Arul Raj OMI, Founder of DMI, MMI, and AMI. This venture marks another milestone for the DFT group of institutions and is a response to the request of the people of Polivakkam. The school adheres to CBSE norms, contributing to the landscape of best schools in thiruvallur district.

The Society of Daughters of Mary Immaculate and Collaborators (DMI) was founded in the year 1984 by Rev.Fr. J.E. Arul Raj, at Keechalam, a remote village in Thiruvallur District, Tamil Nadu, India.
