With all the blessings of lord Nainar Desika Vinayagar, the trustees of the “Kottar Chettu Samuthaya trust” established a pioneer educational Venture in the year 1933. It is a trust that administers a famous private temple, named Nainar Desika Vinayagar temple. The temple is situated at Kottar, which is a very famous Commercial centre of Kanyakumari District.
In the year 1933, the Ninar Desika Vinayagar Devasthanam Trust started an English Middle School. To impart basic and quality education to the poor children in and around Kottar, the trust started a High School, a Teacher Training Institute, a Higher Secondary School and also a Matriculation School.
