Ebenezer International Residential School [EIRS] is the realization of a long nurtured dream of Keralites in quality education. The EIRS was inaugurated by Mr. Stephen George (MLA) on June 10, 2002. The first classes commenced on June 12, 2002 with an enrolment of 200 students for the academic year 2002 – 2003.

The school follows a curriculum, which Is in accordance with the specifications of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It aims at the attainment of the highest order of academic excellence. Non-academic subjects including music, dance and creative projects are given equal Importance while planning the curriculum.

The faculty at EIRS is highly trained, experienced and efficient and are chosen from the top educational institutions in the country. A majority of the faculty resides on campus, which enables the students to seek them for consultation even after class hours.

The total strength of each class does not exceed 25 to ensure that quality education is imparted to each student. A notable feature at EIRS is the teacher- student ratio, which is 1: 10. The regular classes begin at 9:00 AM and end at 3:15 PM.

At EIRS, utmost care and guidance is given to academically weak students by arranging subject-wise remedial classes. After regular classes, special tuition periods are arranged to ensure that students are not burdened with excessive homework.
