Georgetown University in Qatar (GU-Q) is the Qatar campus of the world-renowned Georgetown University located in Washington, DC. The DC campus was established in 1789, and the campus in Doha, Qatar was established in 2005 in partnership with Qatar Foundation. GU-Q offers a four-year undergraduate program in international affairs which awards a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service (BSFS) degree.
The Joint Advisory Board is composed of members appointed by Qatar Foundation and by Georgetown University. It meets biannually for high-level strategic discussions to provide guidance and direction for the campus administration.
