Georgian Public School (GPS) was established in the year 1996. GPS is owned and managed by St. George Forane Church under the guidance of Archdiocese of Changanacherry. The Vicar of St. George Forane Church, Edathua is the Manager and Arch Bishop of Changanacherry, is the Patron. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education with Affiliation No. 930577.
Our Education Ministry is to spread the love of God in the hearts of all by imparting the values of human dignity, brotherhood, equality and justice.
St. George Parish along with the Archdiocese of Changanacherry took a decision to start a CBSE school for the natives of Edathua and nearby people to give quality education and thus upgrade the standard of living of the people whose main occupation was agriculture . This dream come true in the year 1996 and Georgian Public School was established .
