1) Hari Prasad Mohan, a student from GCIS, has been featured for three consecutive years for his Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award achievements. a) He was the world topper in IGCSE Physics and Biology (2021-2022) and Computer Science (2022-2023). He was also top in India across eight subjects at IGCSE b) In the AS Level examinations (2022-2023), he was the world topper in Computer Science and top in India for Physics and Chemistry. He was second in India across four subjects at AS Level. In the A Level examinations (2023-2024), he was declared Top in the World in Physics and top in India for Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science and top in India across three subjects at A Level.
2) a) Students have been writing the ACER IBT for the last couple of years and this year Dhanush Jayapal received the Honor Award in Mathematics. b) NELTAS ECAT, an esteemed platform for young linguists, cultivates language proficiency and fosters global communication skills among today's youth. Harshal Thakku for secured the remarkable 3rd rank in the NELTAS ECAT 12th International English Competition Grand Finale 2022-23. Krishna Tej of grade 3 scored the first position in this exam this year.
3) The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Writing Competition is an opportunity for young Commonwealth citizens to share their thoughts, ideas and experiences on key global issues and have their hard work and achievement celebrated internationally. Each year students win awards in the gold, silver and bronze categories. 4) This year marked the introduction of the 'Cambridge School Recognition Awards,' where approximately 400 schools from South Asia participated by nominating themselves for various categories. GCIS proudly nominated itself for two categories: 'Integrated Learning' and 'Future Ready School.' GCIS secured the award for the extensive display of activities showcasing 'Integrated Learning. GCIS was also nominated among the top 5 as a 'Future Ready School.'
