Govt. Model Sr. Sec. School 28D has a tradition of quality. It is one of the most efficient schools among Govt. Schools of Chandigarh, expanded in vast areas. School Sector 28D Chandigarh (GMSSS 28D, henceforth), is a co-educational institution that was established in the month of June, 1983 by the Education Department of U.T. Chandigarh Administration.

The school students up to 8th Class, about 600 students, avail Mid-Day Meal Facility provided by The Chandigarh Administration. Students and Teachers take their meal together. Bharat Vikas Parishad, one of the prominent NGO of Chandigarh, is conferring the facility of Books
