Government Model Senior Secondary School, 23-A, Chandigarh, affiliated with CBSE, New Delhi and working under the Department of Education Chandigarh has come to occupy a place of prestige among the Model schools of the city. This is a co-educational school, preparing boys and girls for the all India Secondary School Examination and Senior Secondary School Examination. Two nursery schools are attached to this school. Children of 3+ years seek admission to Pre-Nursery and 4+ to Nursery class. The medium of instructions is English.
