It is the first school in this locality, started in the year of 1958 as Primary School at Kishorinagar Village, Diglipur with its limited resources. Since inception the school runs as co-education school. With the increase in number of students the school upgraded to Secondary School in the year 1983 and in 2008 the school further upgraded to Senior Secondary School where students were offered Arts Subjects. The school consistently produced good results after upgradation.
