First, let me introduce myself. I am Fidaa Abdel Hadi, a Jordanian citizen of Palestinian origin. I was born and raised in Abu Dhabi. I studied school in Abu Dhabi and university in Amman, Jordan.
I worked in Abu Dhabi for 21 years in the banking sector, where I worked in 4 different banks, local, international and Islamic.
I worked in the Treasury Department and my responsibilities were of sensitive nature, as I managed the money markets, which are responsible for managing the bank’s liquidity, pricing government deposits, and providing liquidity according to the requirements of monetary management in various short and long periods.
She bid farewell to the banking sector following the mergers that the banking sector witnessed in 2019.
Here, at this specific time, I began a new adventure, a stage of self-discovery, developing skills, and achieving dreams that I had no time for with the pressure and responsibility of the position.
Including caring for the family and building bridges of knowledge with my children again. With the closure during the Corona phase, I turned to drawing and began to unleash the artist inside me and discovered my love for oil paints, and a deep passion for drawing heritage, doors, stones and trees, especially orange groves and olive trees.
At this time, the opportunity to invest in a traditional oriental sweets shop arose, and here the compass of life shifted from investing in the currency markets, the dollar and the euro, to investing in flour and sugar.
In April 2022, Halawanji Nablus Sweets opened in the heart of the capital, Abu Dhabi, in the most crowded spot with famous and old sweets shops in the city.
There are more than 10 sweets shops in Khalidiya, similar to the activity of Nablus Sweets, after purchasing it from its old owner and branding it, and the dream began to turn into reality.
In one year, we worked on high quality, strict health standards and commitment to quality standards. Halawanji Nablus shop became a star in the sky of sweets shops and a landmark in the Khalidiya area.
