Hatsun Agro Product Ltd (HAP) manufactures and markets products that cater to both cooking and consumption, like, milk, curd, ice creams, dairy whitener, skimmed milk powder, ghee, paneer and lots more.
Our brands have become household names in over one million Indian houses. Arun Icecreams, Arokya Milk, Hatsun Curd, Hatsun Paneer, Hatsun Ghee, Hatsun Dairy Whitener and Ibaco have become popular choices across the country. We also have a healthy global presence with dairy ingredients exported to 42 countries around the world — primarily in America, the Middle East and South Asian markets.
Our key focus is on delivering quality, and to that end, we have a technically advanced system that works in accordance with time-tested business processes across our 19 plants. After procurement, the milk is taken for the all-important quality testing and weight checks. HAP is the world’s first dairy company to develop and use thermal battery-based technology in its BMCs, for chilling milk immediately after procurement. It has worked extensively with a Boston-based US company in this regard. The bulk milk coolers run on thermal batteries which store electricity whenever available from the grid. This helps in chilling the milk right at source, even in rural areas with irregular power supply.
The company employs at least two types of testing: Gerber Method and Eko Milk Analyzers. The milk is then subjected to pasteurization, homogenization and bacteria clarification — all performed by a staff of professionals with the single-minded goal of adhering to the highest standards of quality.
HAP sources over 80% of its entire industrial power requirement from renewable sources like solar power and windmills. The Ekomilk analysers, electronic weighing scales, display, stirrer, scanner, tablet and printers in all HMBs operate entirely on solar powered batteries. None of the company’s HMBs has or requires any diesel generator backup for collecting milk, thereby avoiding environmental and sound pollution. Every HMB building has a rooftop solar panel and battery that can store 900 watts of power.

Arun Ice-creams
Arun Icecreams is probably the most well known Hatsun brand. When other ice cream brands opened parlours exclusively in the city, Arun decided to take to suburban and even rural areas, leading the ice cream into the hearts of millions. Arun caters to different people with different tastes with a whole range of ice cream bars exclusively for kids and novel ice cream flavours like indian sweets. The brand also consistently introduces new flavours every season, just to make sure customers have something fresh to look forward to every time they walk in to an Arun Icecreams parlour.
Arokya
The popularity of Arokya can be attributed to the fact that a whole eco-system has been built around the brand promise “Goodness with care, from our villages”. Great care and hygiene goes into the procurement, processing and packaging of Arokya Milk to ensure it’s made available to you in a healthy way.
Milk is collected with extreme care from healthy, well-nourished cattle in hygienic cow-sheds spread across well-connected villages. This is then, pasteurized and homogenized following scientific guidelines to meet stringent quality standards.
Under the Arokya brand,we also have curd. It is available in various convenient formats.
Hatsun
The Cornerstone of the Brand Philosophy of Hatsun Milk products stems from the product essence in itself.
Milk sourced from very fine quality cows that are reared in the pastoral heart lands. Fed on lush green grass, drinking clean water, breathing in crisp fresh air and basking in golden sunlight, the cows provide creamy, frothy milk that goes into the making of every dairy product of Hatsun.

HAP Daily
Hatsun Agro Product Ltd. has introduced HAP daily, a series of outlets that stock dairy products of the highest quality. Which means that customers can now shop for their favorite Hatsun products from under one roof.
Operating on standardised norms set by experienced management at Hatsun, each store will feature products stored and displayed in a hygienic and clean environment. HAP daily houses brands such as Arokya, Hatsun and Arun Ice creams.

SANTOSA
In an endeavor to help the farmers in taking care of the health of their cattle, Hatsun Agro Product Limited manufactures and produces Santosa cattle feed, with an aim to provide the best quality feed. Located in Palani district of Tamil Nadu, Santosa has ultra-modern and state of the art facilities, and produces Cattle Feed as per the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). Santosa cattle feed helps in increase of milk yield and milk quality (FAT & SNF).
For production of quality milk, cattle should be given nutritious foods that includes high nutrients like Proteins, Fat, Energy, Carbohydrates, Fibre, Minerals and Vitamins. These nutrients ensures good digestive action and development of bones. This is especially important for pregnant cows as this protects the health of the calf in the womb and gives them the strength to give birth to 6 to 7 calves. Santosa cattle feed helps in ensuring that the cattle receives these nutrients since they are not present in dry grass, grass and raw leaves.
However, these nutritious foods should be provided in correct dosage/ ratio, along with proteins to give the requisite energy for daily bodily functions as the health of the cattle can be damaged if it is not of correct ratio.
Through Santosa Cattle Feed, Hatsun has successfully ensured a balanced diet for the cattle, filled with natural ingredients and essential nutrients to improve their health, longevity and milk yield with its extensive background in animal nutrition, supported with knowledge and experience of technical experts.
Some of the other advantages of using Santosa feed is that the cattle matures at the right age,their milk produce and it improves immunity which leads to control of mastitis and Aflatoxin. This also helps in easing the digestion for the cattles.
