The 16th Jan, 2010 was the most auspicious day when the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Jessami Ukhrul-II was Inaugurated by by Hon Shri Ibobi Singh Chief Minister Manipur and school is Esatablish in 2013 .The school campus is temporary site and hillside with its buildings connected by steep and windy paths and offering spectacular views at every turn. Jessami is a town in Ukhrul district, Manipur, India. Jessami is a border town in the extreme north of Manipur State and borders with Meluri, a border town of Nagaland State. Being nearer to Nagaland, the town earlier used to get electricity from Nagaland.National Highway 150 passes through Jessami.
