The school was established in 1996 under the aegis of JSW Steel Ltd. with the motto ‘Excel through Education’. The main aim and objective of Jindal Vidya Mandir is to promote quality education for the overall growth of children. JVM is managed by JSW Foundation, under the dynamic leadership of Mrs. Sangita Jindal, chairperson – JSW Foundation. An Endeavour of a modest strength of 53 students, JVM is a co-educational institution with LKG to XII, and today boasts of 2500 students on its roll with a strong team of 99 faculty members.
Jindal Vidya Mandir(JVM) is an English medium school and affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, Affiliation No. 830061). The school follows the prescribed CBSE syllabus. Keeping with the spirit of the Board, the school has adopted three languages – English as the primary mode of communication, followed by Hindi/Kannada as second/third languages.
JVM lays great emphasis on co-curricular, extra-curricular and sports activities. The performance of the students in various activities at the State, Zonal and National levels has always added a feather in the cap of the school.
