The kendriya vidyalaya jourian was established on 7 Dec 2012 in Jammu region of Tehsil –Akhnoor.The School is at a distance of 18 Km From Akhnoor and 1.5 Km from Jourian Bus stand. It is a civil sector vidyalaya run and managed by Kendriya vidyalaya sangathan,an autonomous body of HRD Ministry Govt. of India .The Vidyalaya has been running in temporary building.The land acquiring case of 84 kanals 15 marlas is in progress .The vidyalaya has single sections from class I to X. The Vidyalaya is sincerely engaged in the pursuit of excellence quality education to the children of the area .Vidyalaya aims for the all round development of the pupil through continous comprehensive evaluation. Our Vision KVS envisions itself a world class organization in school education committed to continually empowering teachers to actualize inside out synergy in students and enable them to fulfill futuristic societal, national and global needs and aspirations.
