Kendriya Vidyalaya Dul Hasti Project Kishtwar was established on 6th Nov. 1985 in the project premises of Dul Hasti Project of NHPC. It is situated at a distance of 1 km. From the main market as well as the Bus stand of Kishtwar. The Vidyalaya caters the educational needs of about 900 children of project employees as well as few children of local residents also. The Vidyalaya is marching ahead to impose the features of KV's under worthy directions of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan a leading Educational set up under Ministry of HRD-Govt. of India.
Man is the architect of his own future. No doubt even he can castles in the air if he is well determined. Today education is the sum mum and bonnum of both curricular & co-curricular activities. If our institution would be considered in this respect it will no doubt prove be an asset. It has made progress in both folds of education. It has made the students self-reliance, creative as well as knowledgeable.
