Kendriya Vidyalaya Ukhrul was opened on 16th April, 2007 under the Civil Sector. This vidyalaya was inaugurated by then VMC Chairman - Mr. PANKAJ KUMAR PAL, DC UKHRUL.

2. In the session 2017-18, Kendriya Vidyalaya Ukhrul was upgraded to CLASS-XII (Science stream).
1. Sport’s facilities include a small ground.
2. Indoor games such as Table Tennis, Chess and Carom Board are available for rainy days.
3. Yoga is taught to the students with an aim to develop a higher level of concentration and flexibility.
