The hospital is run by a team of doctors who were former consultants of Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai and Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai.
The hospital was inaugurated on 24th Feb 2019 by eminent personalities in the Dept. of Justice and Health care industry. The Chief guests were Dr. Justice A R Lakshmanan, Dr S C Hugar, Dr. P. Namperumalsamy ( ChaIrman Emeritus, Aravind EyeHospital, Madurai), Dr. T S. Surendran (Vice Chairman, Sankara Nethralaya), Dr Lingam Gopal – world renowned Vitreretinal surgeon, Dr Pramod S Bhende (Director VR Department, Sankara Nethralaya), Dr C T Alagappan (Senior Orthopedician), Dr. N.Sivakadaksham (Eminent Cardiologist).
