The Dindigul Nadar Uravinmurai which was seeded in the year 1965, wished to have a permanent project and sent a requisition to the Tamilnadu Government to begin a High School. While the community was financially unstable without any bank balance or any fixed assets, the Government’s eligibility norms were 5 acres land, Rs70,000/- as a deposit and seating facility for the students.
Shri M.S.P. Solai Nadar family members – Mrs. S. Chinnammal @ Meenakshiammal, Shri A. Avana Nadar, Mrs. A. Rukmani Ammal and their Grandchildren Shri A. Manoharan, Shri Dr. A. Prabhakaran and Shri A. Rajasekaran voluntarily donated 5.5 acres land in memory of M.S.P Solai Nadar on which the institutions stands today.
Shri M.S.P. Solai Nadar Brothers, Madurai readily donated the deposit amount of Rs. 70,000/-. The Dindigul Nadar Uravinmurai immediately gave a positive nod accepting the norms and proceeded with the Educational Department. The die was cast.
he Self Finance classes have to bloom in very aggressive form to be fit for today’s competitive environment. The school has a long way to attain saturation in infrastructure and basic facilities for the students and teachers. Additionally we have set up Air conditioned facilities for the classes in Self Finance Sections. We expect all the people associated with our glorious school to contribute in any form for its future development.”
