Located in the lush green south-western neighbourhood of Chennai (Mangadu) and it is about 20 kms from the heart of Chennai city. Mangadu Public school was established in 2011 under the aegis of Muthukumaran Group of Institutions, Chennai, which was found by Shri A.N. Radhakrishnan, the founder chairman of the group. It is an English medium co-education school, affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi with classes upto XII starting from Pre-KG.

Mangadu Public School is set up on a land area 2.5 acres, with built up area of 19,000 sq.ft. of school buildings, besides play ground area of 50,000 sq.ft., which includes a separate area of 2000 sq.ft. exclusively for kids in the age group of 3 to 10 years. At Mangadu Public School, equal importance is given to sports and academics which aids in overall character development.
