Marygiri Public School, a minority educational institution covered under Article 30 of the Constitution of India and established in 1994, is run by the Kottayam St. Joseph Province of the religious congregation of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI). The school is directly under the management of Marygiri Educational and Charitable Trust. The Education Councilor of CMI St.Joseph Province Kottayam is the ex-officio chairman of the Trust and the Manager of the school. The school is a 10 + 2 co-educational center open to all irrespective of caste, creed or cult and devoid of any discrimination between he and she, or the ‘have’s and the ‘have not’s. The medium of instruction is English.
