Welcome to Mesaieed International School. MIS first opened its doors to students and their families in September 2008 in the current EYFS campus; it was home to all Primary aged students, 3 – 11 years old. The QatarEnergy Nursery was then repurposed to house a small number of Secondary age students. The Primary Campus opened in January 2010, alongside the EYFS Campus and the Secondary Campus the following year in September 2011.   Our three flourishing campuses are now home to over 1100-1200 students between the ages of 3 to 19 years, providing quality education for the children who live in the Mesaieed community

Mesaieed International School is an international school that follows the British curriculum for those children whose parents are​ employees of the QatarEnergy and the joint venture companies operating in Mesaieed. The school currently has 1100-1200 pupils from ages 3 to 19 who are from over 40 countries. 

The school has three campuses, a foundation campus for nursery and reception pupils aged 3 to 5. A primary campus for pupils aged 5 to 11 or school years 1 to 6. A secondary campus for pupils aged 11 to 19 or school years 7 to 13. The school is very popular in the community and currently oversubscribed.

In 2003 QatarEnergy established Mesaieed Nursery School to serve the Mesaieed community. It consisted of a small early years Foundation Stage unit with one Nursery class and one Reception class. Mesaieed Nursery School ran for five years until Mesaieed International School opened the first of three campuses in October 2008 - the Foundation Campus. Mesaieed Nursery School was amalgamated into Mesaieed International School. Indeed, there are pupils now in Secondary that started in Mesaieed Nursery School. 

With the opening of the Foundation Campus of Mesaieed International School pupils were admitted from Nursery to Year 6. Secondary pupils from Year 7 to Year 10 were accommodated in the old Mesaieed Nursery School building. This arrangement continued until the opening of the second campus – the Primary Campus – in January 2010. Pupils in Year 1 to Year 6 moved onto their new campus, and the Secondary pupils moved in upstairs on the Primary Campus, allowing the school to expand its pupil body up to Year 12.

The third and final campus – the Secondary Campus – was opened in January 2011 with the provision of Sixth Form education and now a full A level programme has been developed. Specialist ICT, Design & Technology and fully operating Science labs are in place. Both Primary and Secondary campuses have a 200m synthetic athletics track, an astroturf multi-purpose pitch, a full size gymnasium, a 25m Swimming pool, a learner pool and full playground provision.​
