Established in 1953 as a Nazareth Kindergarten school at Blamatta, in Mangalore has been administered by the Sisters of Franciscan Servants of Mary. Over the past six decades, it has been rendering a sterling service to hundreds of Tiny Tots in their most formative years. They are given pre-primary level education in all its ramifications, which serves as a strong foundation for the building up of their personality, giving their enquiring minds a right orientation, besides instilling in them a sense of discipline and with cooperation of parents, an admirable love for the poor and deprived children.
After much reflection and discernment the school has been upgraded from pre-primary to primary in the year 2013 and now it has reached to Grade 10. A long cherished dream has come true. Our mission has always been to impart innovative methods of education to instil in each learner a zest for lifelong learning. It is a co-education school which imparts a student-centred quality education to all sections of society.
We aim at holistic education that imparts moral, ethical and spiritual values to the students. We seek to chisel their aptitude, mould their character and make them bloom into pleasing personalities. We intend to empower and inspire our students to scale greater heights in academics and nurture them in all spheres of life. And ensure our participation in creating a harmonious society where justice, peace, equality, freedom, patriotism and care for planet earth is nurtured and promoted.
We place our priority to faith formation and value based education. Imparting education to the young boys, girls and the tiny tots we will aspire to generate an intelligentsia that will speak for itself. We will enhance holistic human development and nation building through value based, growth oriented and student-centered quality education to all sections of society thus enabling the young to become women and men of conviction, commitment, compassion and competence.
