Over the past 20+ years, New Horizon School has continued to grow and develop as an excellent educational institution. NHS is a combination of steady growth, innovation, and resilience in the face of challenges and evolved into one of the best schools in Bahrain. The school was established in the year 2000 and focused on providing value-based education to young children, emphasizing qualities like honesty, kindness, and responsibility

The triangular bonding between Students, Teachers, Parents and the School at large is pivotal for the growth of the student community and thereby the School. The Management has given due recognition to the presence of parents on the Council that constitutes the Parent - Teacher Association (PTA) Board representing each student level. The first Parent Teacher Association (PTA) assumed office in 2006. The NHS PTA is a vibrant body of enthusiastic parents and earnest teachers inspired by the vision of the School committed to harness the full potential of students.

The PTA volunteers share their core competencies on Saturdays providing extra coaching classes in various events at nominal charges. The Management welcomes any parent/well-wisher who wishes to be a benefactor rendering his time, talent and energy to the empowerment of the NHS family. Parents are urged to give equal importance to the body, mind and spirit of an individual.

Let us focus on developing critical thinking skills, extra-curricular activities, social skills, modes of communication and coordinated inter-personal relationships besides academics. PTA offers a golden venue for NHS parents to enhance their leadership skills and experience the joy of working together towards a common goal.

The entry of NHS into the Guinness Book of World Records in February 2012 by creating the largest 3D Anamorphic Painting at the NHS PTA Carnival speaks volumes of this unique NHS family.
