Om CENTRAL PRIMARY SCHOOL, got its affiliation to CBSE in the year 2020. With its motto GLOBALIZING RURAL IDEAS . The school has worked hard towards achieving its goal of uplifting the level of quality of education in a small Village of Kabbur (Dist. Belgaum, Karnataka, India) in such a way that it enhances and promotes the innate talent of its children and provides them proper guidance so as to take their potentials to the highest level possible.
The ultimate objective of Om School is to take its students to the GLOBAL level. The school wants and works in such a way that students not only reach and win at STATE or National level but also should aim and achieve the ultimate goal of gaining fame at international level. We are a rapidly growing school with many students on our rolls. We have highly trained teachers and hardworking supporting staff even as we are in the process of adding more to the strength to bolster our quality of education. The school offers education from Nursery to Class VIII based on CBSE curriculum. It is complimented with state-of- the-art library, computer-based teaching techniques and STEM labs.

Extra-curricular and co-curricular activities are conducted for effective personality development of the children. E-learning, a well-stocked library, multi-media classrooms, activity hall, sports facilities, science, maths and computer labs, project learning, inter-house events, hobby clubs etc. bring out the hidden potential of the child and improve their academic performance. Om School emphasizes the importance of ‘Learning by Doing’. We believe learning should be interesting and practical. Almost every subject has Kits – Maths, Science, Environmental Science etc. We intend to draw out and nurture their natural abilities, be it artistic, scientific or linguistic. A strong emphasis on holistic growth is emphasized with subjects like Public Speaking, Creative Writing, Theatre, Music, Dance and numerous internal and external competitions we provide.
We look after an appropriate Teacher-Student Ratio, constant progress tracking of every child and tend to interject in the students, strong characteristic values.
We are the kind of an institution that believes in empowering our students and teachers while moving forward along with technology, be it through interactive smart classes or innovative language labs. We also emphasize a great deal on Safety and Security. In a true International sense, parents can track the performance of their wards through various means such as Online Management Software, SMS alerts and periodic visits by teachers.
Om School was established in 2014. The mission of the school was to provide students in the small village of Kabbur with a quality, independent education that focused on engaging and active learning, a commitment to the environment, and dedication to the school and local communities. Located in the very heart of the village, it began with 50 students enrolled in Kindergarten through Fourth grade. Since its opening, the school’s dynamic educational environment has continued to evolve.
Soon after the school began, word started to spread. In just three years, enrollment doubled. In 2020 the school moved from the crowded part of the village towards it’s outskirts, just a kilometer away. The school now consists of two story full-fledged buildings with all modern facilities, state of the art STEM labs and newly updated, well stocked library.
By January 2021, the school was accredited by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
That same year, we broke ground on Phase One of our new Middle and High School building. The building opened in January 2021 with one music room, one dance room and three labs, including a Physics laboratory, Chemistry Laboratory, Biology Laboratory and even Math laboratory, and Office Section.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Om School began one of the most rigorous and successful online teaching and learning programme, offering blended learning with on-site and virtual learning options for families.
Throughout our history, the school community has remained committed to creating an environment in which students are known, supported, challenged, and encouraged to grow.
