Pakistan School Suwaiq, a branch of Pakistan School Muscat was established in a rented building in Tareef in 1994 to fulfill the educational requirement of Pakistani children of Al-Baatna region. Some Pakistanis serving in Royal Navy of Oman with the help of some generous parents put in their best efforts to raise funds. The school was shifted to its present spacious rented building in Al-Qarat on the 14th of August 1996.

The first batch appeared for SSC examination in 2000. In 2004 junior block, science labs, library, computer lab and prayer hall for boys were added.The second addition of prayer hall for girls and a separate building for admin office, canteen, water coolers and a visitors’ room were added to the school building in 2008. HSSC classes have also been started since 2010.

The significant improvement in FBISE exam results is a testament to our collective efforts.
