Being a guest at the Ramada by Wyndham I regularly had breakfast at the 'Sura'. It was included in the room rate. Twice I also came here for dinner, not feeling like going out very much. There was a buffet available for 90 AED, which had to be paid separately, since the amount could not be charged to the room. Surprisingly there were never many guests at dinner time. Next door was a pub with karaoke room. On the first evening there was attentive and friendly staff around, on the second evening service was almost inexistent. All the tables are set from the beginning. Once one has selected a table water gets poured into a glass. It said that the restaurant is Korean. If ever it was so, it definitely isn't anymore. There was never a Korean, nor Japanese, Chinese or Thai dish available. Cuisine was Indian, Arab and Italian. It kept changing every evening, but always it had beef, lamb, chicken, fish or something vegetarian on the menu, as well as some kind of pasta. There was also a nice choice of salads and Lebanese mezze as starters. Quality of the food was good.
