In the year 1980 Salafi Educational Association was founded in Palakkad & opened its doors to the first cohort of students. Since then its way of adventure on Educational institution survival school were established in and around of Palakkad District.

In the name 'Elegant' was chosen carefully and the logo was consciously created by the founders. 'The Elegant' which means 'Graceful Shine’. It stands for spiritual, openness, impartiality, frankness, honesty, integrity and purity. We believe in 'The Elegant’ and aim to infuse this quality into our students and into everything.
