This was part of the mandate of the founding Father of the LWSH Congregation. When the convent was founded in 2002, the Vijayamatha Elementary School was started. Realizing the condition in the locality and seeing the great demand for the C.B.S.E. systems all over India and abroad the management introduced the C.B.S.E. system and the school was renamed Vijayamatha Public School in 2004.
The school was formally affiliated to the C.B.S.E. in 2013 up to Class X. The vision that upholds Vijayamatha belongs to Blessed Francesco Maria Greco who was a saint and social reformer. Blessed Francesco Maria Greco was one of the missionaries to dedicate his life to the upliftment of the society from illiteracy, superstition and inhuman practices.
That profound vision of the saintly priest led to the establishment of numerous schools in Italy, America, Argentina, Albania and India. Each LWSH school is a beacon that transforms the society of which it is an integral part. Vijayamatha Public School has played that role of beacon in Koduppunna with its sublime aims and objectives.
